This week we really enjoyed a lot of fun reading with partners as well as independently. After reading, we filled out our reading logs where we have to write if the text is comparing and contrasting, problem /solution, sequential, or chronological. / Esta semana hemos disfrutado la lectura en pareja y independiente. Nosotros llenamos nuestra guía de estrategias donde  tenemos que escribir si el texto es comparando y contrastando, problema/solución, en secuencia, o cronológico.

We are also learning to identify nouns, pronouns and adjectives. We did a little “test” when we pretended to be a pelican and we were looking for a tasty adjective to eat, but there is only one adjective. We also had to find pronouns for bonus points. / También, estamos aprendiendo a identificar sustantivos, pronombres, y adectivos. Hicimos un examen en que fingimos ser pelicano y buscamos un adjectivo saboroso para comer, pero solo hay un adjectivo. Ganamos puntos extras por nombrar los pronombres.

We are learning the lengths of a centimeter, a meter, and a kilometer.  We can also adding and subtracting kilometers, meters, and centimeters. / Estamos  aprendiendo   cuán  largo son los centímetros, metros, y kilómetros . También podemos sumar y restar centímetros, metros, y kilómetros.
