This week, we are studying the dictionary during morning meeting.

Esta semana, nosotros estamos estudiando el diccionario durante  la reunión de la mañana .
   

 

This week, we also studied Idioms like: It’s raining cats and dogs, in Spanish we do not say “Esta lloviendo gatos y perros” we say “Está lloviendo a cántaros”.

Esta semana, nosotros también estudiamos Dichos como: Llueve a cántaros, en inglés no decimos “ It’s raining jars”, nosotros decimos “It’s raining cats and dogs”.     

This week, we finished a book called “Mick Harte Was Here”. It’s  a really good book.  After we made a project out of it. Some of the projects were funny, like the one where a group made a song/dance about the book, they made a funny parody of “ Watch me Whip/ Nae Nae”.

Esta semana terminamos un libro llamado “Mick Harte Was Here”. Es un libro muy bueno. Después de terminar de leer el libro, hacemos un proyecto sobre el libro. Algunos proyectos son chistosos, como el de un grupo que hizo una canción/baile del libro.

Mrs.Rodríguez showed us how to play a new finish early option called “Treasure Hunt”.  Using Coordinate Planes, we tried to find the other player’s point.  It’s like battleship.  

Mrs.Rodríguez nos enseñó a jugar una opción de terminar temprano que se llama Busqueda de tesoro. Usando el cuadrícula de coordenadas, intentamos encontrar el punto de la otra persona.
